Action and thriller movies as well as television programs have always fascinated us in one way or the other. In all action films, the directors and producers put a lot of efforts so that they can catch the attention of viewers to much extent. In those movies and TV programs, you get the chance to see some fantastic cars too. Here is the list of 5 most memorable cars in movies and television.

1. 1981 DeLorean DMC-12 – Back to the Future (1985)

Giorgetto Giugiaro has been the designer of the amazing DeLorean DMC-12 for John DeLorean. This car is memorable because of having doors of wing style. Moreover, the car looks fantastic and gives us a big surprise in terms of its sleek body. We cannot, however, call it a supercar because it was just made for that particular piece of entertainment. The movie was a flop but the movie’s car made everyone crazy.

2. 1966 Ford Thunderbird – Thelma & Louise (1991)

The Oscar-winning classic Thelma & Louise powered by awesome performance of Geena Davis (Thelma) and Susan Sarandon (Louise). The body, color and overall look of this vehicle have been outstanding. This is one of the most memorable cars in movies and television. It was afterwards placed in a museum to showcase the people who had watched that movie.

3. 1977 Ferrari 308 GTS – Magnum, P.I. (1980 – 1988)

Here is another lovely and one of most memorable cars in movies and television. In its first five seasons, Magnum, P.I. became a superb television show. It was happened because of the endless efforts of Tom Selleck. This crime drama had a Ferrari which is worth to see and to give a try to. The color was awesome, and the design of the car was out of the world.

4. 1977 Pontiac Trans Am – Smokey and the Bandit (1977)

A smokey car with superb body and grace! Smokey and the Bandit director Hal Needham selected the 1977 Pontiac Trans Am for his action movie, and trust me his choice was not bad at all. The car was marketed from 1977 to 1978, and its thousands of products were out in 1979. Americans simply love this car due to its graceful and descent look. From the doors to interior as well as seating – everything was just amazing.

5. The Batmobile – Batman (1989)

It was an excellent choice of makers behind Batman. The ‘60s-era Adam West Batmobile, and Tim Burton loved The Batmobile which was presented like a fantasy car. Its design has been inspired from the high quality and successful animated movies. This car is superb and looks stunning as well as fabulous.

That’s said all of these cars have been outstanding. Some of them we can call as machine guns. They may not be present in today’s era but we still miss those cars. Isn’t it? Which one is your favorite? Do you dream to own any of them? Do not forget to share your thoughts!
