My Water Diet: I Tried To Drink 3 Liters A Day And This Is What Happened


We are aware of the fact that drinking water is important since our body’s seventy percent parts consist of water and its components. It would not be wrong to say that water guarantees healthy lifestyle. It is able to lubricate your joints, provides protection to the spinal cord as well as other sensitive tissues of the body. Besides this, was regulates the body temperature.

According to a 2013 Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, about forty percent adults are habitual of drinking less water than their bodies need, and 36 percent drink only two to three cups a day which is not sufficient. Another 7 percent drink not even a single glass of water and this leads them to suffer from various health complications.

When I first took the decision to start my “water diet”, I had a thought to have improved skin. I came across a lady who drinks 3 liters of water per day, and had clear, refined skin, so she became my inspiration.

What I did

Early in the morning, I wake up and drink an 8-ounce glass of water. This I do about an hour before my breakfast. After that when I got to work, I bring a 16-ounce water bottle and drank it the whole day. Drinking water helped me a lot, and I doubled the amount to get better results.

How I felt

After a few days’ homework of water diet, I noticed that my skin is getting improved day by day. I used to felt energetic because of this. My skin started looking younger, added with fresh cells. I also saw that the pores of the face have started shrinking. None of the dermatologists evaluated it since I noticed such changes myself.

What I didn’t like

What I didn’t like was being in the room where there are so many ladies. I work in an office where there are separate portions for both men and women. I kept on drinking water every day. It is no doubt true that my daily water diet brought good changes in my life. But after drinking water, I have to go to bathroom again and again and that’s too irritating.

If you feel that you cannot live without water, you need to opt for the option of drinking it in excess. Every lady who is conscious about her skin should give highest preference to drinking about three to four liters of water on a daily basis. I highly recommend to give the water diet a try to see positive impacts because it will really bring nice changes in the physiology of your body.

Not only this but also water provides safeguard to the brain from shocks as it is helpful in building the protective layer around the brain. Also it protects our heart from sudden incidents by safeguarding the delicate portion.

It is up to you to see how much water would suit you the most. My recommendation is that you drink three liters minimum every day.
